Dayang Nurfaizah @ Konsert Journey Through Song - Ingin Bersua D.J Dave

The 3-day concert at Istana Budaya started yesterday night! Journey Through Song - Ingin Bersua D.J Dave features a string of hits by the evergreen singer, DJ Dave culled from his 40 years in the industry - statting with his first breakthrough hit - Maafkanlah to his latest single Nyawaku.

Since the concert is a "Journey Through Song", DJ Dave brought along a few friends to represent each decade of his 40-year journey in music: Uji Rashid (70's), Man Kidal (80's), Dayang Nurfaizah (90's) and Marsha Londoh (new millennium)

Dayang Nurfaizah and DJ Dave performed a duet, Segalanya (originally sung by DJ Dave and Liza Aziz)

Dayang also gave a superb rendition of her own hit - Life With You. , complete with strings section. Fantastic!

Aaron Aziz Joins Dayang Nurfaizah, Siti Nurhaliza and Others in Red Ribbon Celebrity Support Programme

The RRCS is a signature advocacy initiative by the Malaysian AIDS Council that aims to increase our appeal to wider audience through celebrity endorsement. The programme was conceived in 2009 to complement our previous National Strategic Plan, whereby we plan to advocate for the creation of supportive environment to address the issue on AIDS-related stigma and discrimination.

Representing the diverse ethnic backgrounds that reflects the spirit of unity of this country, these celebrities are also considered leaders by their peers in their respective fields of music, film & television and other alternative media.

Their involvement is purely on voluntary basis and they have pledged to give their full commitment to the cause in their free time.
