Press Release: R&B Queen Dayang Nurfaizah To Entertain Secretaries at Singgahsana Hotel PJ

Petaling Jaya, March 14 – ATTENTION bosses. Secretaries’ week is here again and it is time to treat and pamper the unsung heroines who work silently behind the scene.

The best way is to let them enjoy a good full-course lunch while being entertained with a mesmerising performance by the country’s queen of R&B, Dayang Nur Faizah at Singgahsana Hotel, Petaling Jaya.

The luncheon at noon on April 18 is set to be a captivating outing for some 600 secretaries and bosses alike as they listen to Dayang’s rendition of popular cover of R&B melodies.

The songstress said she is excited to entertain all guests who will be coming to the luncheon and will also be performing her hit songs such as Dayang Sayang Kamu and Seandainya Masih Ada Cinta.


“This time, my performance will be different yet a memorable one which is filled with excellent music performance.

“It is a well-deserved treat not just for secretaries and administrative staff, but also a perfect getaway for any employee from a busy day at the office,” said the singer who is popularly known as Dayang at the press conference held yesterday.

Organised by Singgahsana Hotel Petaling Jaya (HSPJ) - a subsidiary of KUB Malaysia Berhad, the 90-minute luncheon is a continuation of last year’s mini concert with Jamal Abdillah which received an overwhelming response and reviews from its client.

HSPJ’s General Manager, Mohamat Yusof Abu Bakar said although this is their first time to organise secretaries’ week luncheon, the HSPJ team is determined to provide an outstanding and high quality performance with a great quality of food as well as to continue to host more such events in the future.

To add to the excitement, there will be a red carpet moment before the luncheon starts and some lucky ticket’s holders will stand a chance to win attractive prizes in lucky draws and quizzes to be held at the same spot.

The show will be hosted by popular comedian Dee.

“Dayang was an obvious choice as she is one of Malaysia's best female vocal singer and we are happy to have her performing here. She is a very talented and versatile performer which offers an exclusive musical experience.

“All guests will surely have great and fun times with Dayang and Dee while enjoying the delicious lunch course specially prepared by our executive chefs,” he said.
 

Ticket for the show and a full-course lunch are priced from RM300 to RM500 for individuals while luncheon table are available from RM3000 to RM5,000 per table.

The 3-day concert at Istana Budaya started yesterday night! Journey Through Song - Ingin Bersua D.J Dave features a string of hits by the evergreen singer, DJ Dave culled from his 40 years in the industry - statting with his first breakthrough hit - Maafkanlah to his latest single Nyawaku.

Since the concert is a "Journey Through Song", DJ Dave brought along a few friends to represent each decade of his 40-year journey in music: Uji Rashid (70's), Man Kidal (80's), Dayang Nurfaizah (90's) and Marsha Londoh (new millennium)

Dayang Nurfaizah and DJ Dave performed a duet, Segalanya (originally sung by DJ Dave and Liza Aziz)

Dayang also gave a superb rendition of her own hit - Life With You. , complete with strings section. Fantastic!
