Dayang Nurfaizah @ Konsert Kemuncak Suria FM

Dayang telah menyertai 16 artis popular tanahair dari tahun 90-an dan juga artis baru untuk membuat persembahan di dalam Konsert Kemuncak Suria FM di Persint 3, Putrajaya, malam 24 Julai lalu.

Dayang Nurfaizah membuka tirai konsert malam tersebut dengan mendendangkan lagu Mulanya Di Sini, lagu yang pernah dipopularkan oleh kumpulan Freedom pada tahun 1987.

Lagu ini diberi "dance treatment" oleh Dayang Nurfaizah dan akan dimuatkan di dalam album terbarunya nanti. Click DI SINI untuk video clip persembahan lagu ini.

Selepas itu, Dayang Nurfaizah menyampaikan lagi Ku temu Cahaya dan Sayang.

Yes. It's a remake of a popular tune from 1987 by Freedom featuring the late Seha. Dayang previewed her dance version at the Konsert Kemuncak Suria FM last Friday at Putrajaya. This song will be featured in Dayang soon to be released album, Sayang.

Every year since 2003, diva Dayang Nurfaizah has been celebrating her birthday with her fans. With this already being a tradition with her fans, once again Dayang takes centre stage to celebrate her 29th birthday at Hard Rock Café on 1 August 2010, 10.30pm, and to mesmerize her fans with her stunning vocals as a gesture of appreciation for their constant and loyal support of her work since she entered the music industry.

2010 marks Dayang’s 11th year in the Malaysian music industry and also the release of her 8th album. This extraordinary night will see Dayang performing cover songs from local and international singers who have made an imprint in her heart.

This passionate and powerful singer will also be singing for the very first time a few songs from her upcoming 8th album which has a more R&B flavour compared to her previous albums. The songs in her new album centres around the theme of love and the positive influence of love on people and she hopes to promote these positive vibes to all her fans.

This year alone, Dayang’s passion and dedication to music has been acknowledged with her first live album – DAYANG LIVE winning the AIM awards for best Pop Album as well as being placed as runner up for TV3’s Mentor Reality Programme.

Dayang Nurfaizah has come a long way indeed in these 11 years.

Dayang is an innovator in fashion yet traditional in nature, and wields a fiery yet soothing vocal style that redefines the boundaries of her genre of music. Fans will have the opportunity to request for her to sing any song they want in her trademark Jukebox session, a must-have at all her birthday showcases.

Dayang will be backed by Malaysia’s finest musicians under the leadership of Musical Director, Faizal Uzir @ Lok U. Flash back: Dayang Nurfaizah @ Lelong Amal Suria FM Road Tour 2009

The lelong amal or charity auction was to raise fund for Rumah Nur Salam, a shelter home for abandoned children in Chow Kit.

It was held at Mydin, Subang Jaya in Jan 2009.

The artiste with a heart of gold. Dayang is no stranger to charity events like this and she would do her very best to support a good cause.

Now, what did Dayang "lelong-ed"?

A pair of her designer boots.

Dayang Nurfaizah @ Konsert Ella di Istana Budaya

Rawk!

Saya terserempak dengan Dayang Nurfaizah semasa menghadiri Konsert Ella di Istana Budaya, malam Khamis lepas. (1 Julai). Masa tu Dayang tengah sibuk melayan peminat-peminat yang hendak bergambar dengan beliau. Kita pun tumpang sekaki la. Heheh!



Saya sempat bersembang dengan Dayang sementara menunggu pintu dewan konsert dibuka.



Dayang tengah sibuk dengan aktiviti Mentor 4. Maklumlah...dah masuk final, kan? Dayang terpaksa pergi rehearsal untuk Mentor 4 selepas konsert. Malam-malam pun kena buat rehearsal jugak. Kesian....



Kepada peminat-peminat Dayang, tolong undi Adi untuk juara Mentor 4 Ahad ini. Julai 4. Berikan sokongan anda kepada Dayang Nurfaizah dan protegenya, Adi.

Next concert, Dayang? Jumpa di Konsert Usher @ Stadium Bukit Jalil ya. :)
